
Lalo Aguilar is Content Marketing Manager at Pipe17, the AI-native Order Operations Platform that unifies connectivity and order management for enterprise brands and 3PLs. He leads Pipe17’s editorial strategy, covering agentic commerce, OMS modernization, 3PL operations, multi-channel fulfillment, and the operational shifts reshaping post-purchase commerce.
Lalo brings a journalist’s eye to commerce content. Before Pipe17, he spent nearly four years at VTEX, the enterprise digital commerce platform, writing on composable commerce, marketplace strategy, replatforming, live shopping, and consumer electronics ecommerce. Earlier in his career, he was Senior Reporter at El CEO, a leading Mexican business publication, covering economics and politics, and reported on the energy sector at Energy 21.
Lalo holds an MA in Politics and Contemporary History from King’s College London and a BA in Communication and Media Studies from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City. He writes in both English and Spanish, working remotely from Mexico City.
