Mo Afshar is Co-Founder and CEO of Pipe17, the AI-native Order Operations Platform that unifies connectivity and order management for enterprise brands and 3PLs. He co-founded Pipe17 in 2019 to solve one of commerce’s hardest problems: connecting selling channels, marketplaces, point-of-sale systems, ERPs, and fulfillment partners so post-purchase operations keep pace with how the world actually sells.
Mo brings over two decades of enterprise software, cloud, and commerce infrastructure experience. Before Pipe17, he was CEO of Spoken Communications, a customer experience SaaS provider acquired by Avaya, and held executive roles at Oracle building multi-billion-dollar cloud businesses. He advises several venture and private equity firms and is a founding voice behind the Commerce Operations Foundation and the Order Network eXchange (onX), the open standard for how orders move between systems in the agentic commerce era.
Mo holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Cambridge University. He writes and speaks regularly on AI-native order operations, OMS modernization, ecommerce infrastructure, and the future of agentic commerce.
